Read Across America Week at i4L

February 26 - March 2, is Read Across America Week. During the week, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss, the author of 46 children’s books. Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading. March 2nd is the birthday of the beloved children's author. Please help your children participate in our dress-up days!

Monday, February 26
Cat in the Hat - Wear a hat-the crazier the better!

Tuesday, February 27
Oh The Places You’ll Go - Wear clothes that show what you want to be when you grow up.

Wednesday, February 28
Many Colored Days - Wear as many colors as you can!

Thursday, March 1
Green Eggs and Ham - Wear as much green as you can today.
*We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday in K-5 groups from 2:50 - 3:20 by doing a whole school buddy read.

Friday, March 2
Sleep Book - Wear pajamas or comfy clothes.
