K-2 Blog September 30 - October 4
Most of the assessments have been completed. Scores will be available in the coming weeks or at Parent Teacher conferences on October 29 & November 7.
K-2 will have homework this week. It will come home on Monday and is due the following Monday.
Kindergarten’s will continue to work with patterns.
1st grade will be practicing basic addition facts using dominoes.
2nd grade will focus on understanding the place value of a three digit number. We will also be taking the Unit 1 post test and Unit 2 pretest.
This week we will be do the F & P reading level assessments.
Community Projects: Field trip to Kewaskum Community businesses will be Friday, Oct. 11. We are splitting the students into 3 groups. They will each be visiting 2 Kewaskum businesses (Library/Police Dept. or Cousins/Kewaskum Veterinary or Piggly Wiggly/DQ). Students will be researching one of the businesses to present at our Showcase night in November. Permission slips are coming home tonight. Please return them ASAP. We can take 5 chaperones on the bus. If we have more parents can meet us there. Be sure you have completed the background check on district website.
Sarah Theisen will be joining us as a practicum student from Concordia University. She will be with us on Fridays for the month of October.
