Week of May 14th-18th

Math- Kindergarten and First grade will be learning about money. They will be identify coins and counting pennies, nickles, and dimes. Second grade will be taking the unit 7 test, and starting the end of the year test. 

Literacy- We have now completed all our of end of the year literacy testing. We will be reading aesop fables next week during our mini lessons. We will be doing words and writing activities that tie into those fables (Tortoise and the Hare, City Mouse and County Mouse, and the Lion and the Mouse). 

Project Time- On Monday we will be finishing our unit on light and sound. We will also be having someone from the library come in to talk about the summer reading program at the Kewaskum Library. We will be using the rest of our science and social studies time to do our end of the year weekly readers.

 Upcoming Events:

Please make sure your child is not wearing flip flops at recess. If they wear flip flops to school, they will need to change shoes before recess. 

5/17: 8:40- Bus Evacuation Drill & End of the Year Cookout Picnic
