On March 22, Child Nutrition is partnering with FUTP60 are holding their 4th Annual “Driven to Better Health” Night.  We will be holding a cooking competition featuring our Harvest of the Month, Potatoes. They will have 5 Student teams and 1 Adult team that will be creating the best Potato recipe.  The recipe will be judged by a group of individuals.  The winning recipe will be placed on the lunch menu at school and also offered at the local Piggly Wiggly in their deli department.  The community will be able to watch as these Potato recipes are being prepared and judged.  At the end, they will get to try these recipes and place their vote for the best recipe.  This winner will be the People’s Choice Award!
i4L is in need of a team of 6 students and a coach! If you like to cook, contact the school office to learn more and see if you can volunteer to help us represent i4L at this year's "Driven to Better Health Night"! Once we have a adult volunteer interest sheets will go home with all of our students to give them the opportunity to be part of the team!
