Week of April 3rd-6th
This week we started working on spring and Easter projects. We watched a short clip of a chick hatching and sequenced it afterwards. We also sponge painted eggs, and started a bunny hand print project. We practiced writing numbers and our last names.
In Second Step, we learned how to speak up assertively when we are involved in a problem. Students should try to solve the problem on their own by talking to that person.
Next week we will not have Second Step because the last three lessons are prep for kindergarten, so we'll do those in May.
We will be learning the letter Xx. We will so dyeing Easter eggs, having an Easter egg hunt, playing bunny bingo, and doing a science experiment using Peeps.
Remember there is no school the 14th-18th. We have a field trip to James and the Giant Peach on the 20th in the morning.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy the warm weather :)
