Another week has flown by! After 12 days of 4k, I realized yesterday how quickly the students have adjusted to the schedule and daily routine. I am very proud of everyone!

This week I started Fastbridge testing. 4k is tested on letter names and sounds.  I will hopefully finish the testing next week. Those results will be communicated with you at the first home visit, which will take place late October/ early November.

We have also been practicing strokes and holding the writing instrument correctly. Thumb, pointer, and tall man should be on the crayon, and the two other fingers "get tucked down for the ride" (which means they should not be on the crayon).

The students were all very attentive during the bus safety presentation, and will hopefully remember the rules on the bus.

A few of their favorite brain breaks so far are The Bean Bag Boogie, and We're Going on a Bear Hunt. We do 1-2 of these each day to get up and move, and take a break.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Stahl
