September 6th-9th

Hello Parents! This is our weekly blog. You will find our lesson plans for the following week. It will be updated by Friday for the following week. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Math- Kindergarten math will be working on groups of objects two-five.  Homework has not started yet. You will see manipulative coming home to practice math with.  First grade is working on partners of six and seven and practicing basic math facts. Homework will come home Tuesday and will be due by the following Monday. If it's completed early, they can turn it in at any time. Second grade will be continuing to work on math mountains (with teen numbers) and working on finding double facts with math mountains. We will also begin to make sums of tens with coin strips. All students will be logging on to sumdog. For those of you not familiar, Sumdog is a free math program the students will be using throughout the school year. Each student has a log in and password, which can be used at home. If your child does not remember his/ her password, please check with his/her teacher.
