Welcome 2016-2017 School Year!!!!

Can you believe it's that time already!?!  The 2016-2017 school year will officially begin for students next Thursday, September 1, 2016.  Students and families are invited to come to our open house on Tuesday, August 30 from 4:00 to 6:00pm.  Students and families are encouraged to come check out the classrooms, meet their teachers and other staff members.  Students can also bring along school supplies to leave in their designated areas of their classroom.

This year i4learning Community School welcomes two new teachers!!  Mrs. Diane Radmer will be team teaching with the K-2 team.  Mrs. Radmer is entering her 6th year of teaching and most recently taught 1st/2nd grade in the Beaver Dam School District.  Students will also see a new face when they visit music class this year.  Mrs. Brittany Ward will be teaching Music at i4Learning and Farmington Elementary School. In addition she will be helping out the choir department at KMS.  Mrs. Ward is entering her 7th year of teaching and most recently taught Music for the Pulaski and Bonduel School Districts.  We are very excited about the experience and strengths these two will bring to our i4Learning Community!!

We are also delighted to share that Mrs. Mongin (Art teacher) will be out on maternity leave sometime near December. Congratulations to Mrs. Mongin and her family!!!

Another new face that you will find around i4learning this year will be Mrs. Karla Daane.  Mrs. Daane will be the school counselor in the district serving i4Learning and the Kewaskum High School.  Mrs. Daane previously worked for the Waupun and Beaver Dam School Districts.

With the start of a new school year there's always a tremendous amount of anticipation as we welcome the students back into the classrooms.  Some students will have new teachers to get to know, while others will be returning to familiar faces, a benefit of our multi-age learning environment.

In addition to the many new faces and other changes this year you will also see an updated computer lab which has been transformed into a flexible large group learning space.  All students have 1:1 access to mobile device technology so our traditional computer lab had become outdated.  We are excited to put this new learning space into use with our students.

Mr. Joel Dziedzic will be returning as principal at i4Learning for a third year. This will be his eleventh year in the Kewaskum School District. Mr. Dziedzic will also be serving as Associate Principal at the Kewaskum High School this year.  Previously his time was split as director of the Kewaskum Career Academy, Next Generation Learning and i4Learning Principal.

Annual Performance & Information- Please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 15, 2016.  As a charter school and independent non-profit entity, i4Learning will be hosting an informational meeting to share out information on school performance, annual goals and general information on school operations.  All families and interested community members are invited to attend and learn more about the i4Learning Community School.
