Week of April 11th-14th

This week we continued learning about seeds. We're focusing on plant parts, what foods grow from seeds, and planted seeds. We also finished the class book called, Flowers, Flowers, Everywhere. I was so impressed with how well the students are able to read it. Their work from the seeds unit will all be on display in our classroom and on the bulletin boards at the gallery night next Thursday from 4:30-7. Your child will be able to explain the projects they made and read the class book to you. I hope all students and families will be able to make it!

I think everyone had a great time on the field trip yesterday! They loved the musical. Hopefully they were able to tell you all about it!

Next week, we will be starting a unit on bugs and doing a couple Earth Day projects (Earth Day is April 22nd).

PALS testing will start on the April 26th and will run for two weeks. I will share the results with you as soon as the tests are completed.

We will be taking our end of the year field trip to Ridge Run Park in West Bend in May (tentatively planned for May 26th). Parent volunteers are welcome! We will have a picnic, play on the playground, and take a walk around the ponds. Watch for more info to come!

Have a great weekend! Enjoy the beautiful weather!
