Week of January 3rd-6th
Math- Kindergarten will be learning about teen numbers and partners of seven. First grade will be working on adding tens and ones, and simple two digit addition. Second grade will be reviewing and taking the test after break. We will also be starting unit 4 (counting coins). You can start practicing this at home.
Literacy- Mrs. Stahl's group new sight words will be: little, play, look. Our K-2 mini lessons will focus on main idea and details in both fiction and non fiction stories.
Projects: Next week we'll begin our next PLTW on Light: Sun, moon & stars. We'll be sending home a permission slip after break for our whole school field trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum/ Planetarium on January 27th.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SHOES TO WEAR AT SCHOOL IF YOU COME IN YOUR BOOTS. SNOW PANTS WILL BE REQUIRED EVERYDAY IN THE WINTER MONTHS.
We'll be sending home the rest of the art smocks today. Please wash it and return it after break.
There will be no school on Monday, January 2nd. See you on January 3rd!
