Week of 12/19-12/23
Math- Kindergarten will be learning about equals and not equals, sorting and grouping, and teen numbers. First grade will be working on greater than, less than and equal to, as well as tens and ones. Second grade will be measuring large items with meters and yards. We are then using line plots to graph that information. Chapter 3 test should be next week as well.
Literacy- Mrs. Stahl's group will be reviewing the sight words we've learned so far this year. Next week we will be comparing character traits and discussing how those traits can change within a story.
Projects: Next week we'll continue learning about holidays around the world (China, Australia, Kwanzaa).
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SHOES TO WEAR AT SCHOOL IF YOU COME IN YOUR BOOTS. SNOW PANTS WILL BE REQUIRED EVERYDAY IN THE WINTER MONTHS.
