Week of 10/24-28th
Math- Kindergarten will be working on counting objects through 10 and beginning plus 1. They are also working on patterns. First grade is working on math mountains and unknown partners. Second grade will be taking their first unit one test and unit two pretest. They are shifting into place values and talking about numbers greater than 100.
Literacy- Mrs. Stahl's group will also be introduced to three new sight words: you, can, the. K-2 mini lessons and small groups will focus on problem and solution. The higher students will also work on summarizing. K-2 assessment results will be shared at conferences.
Projects: Next week for science students will be working in pairs to create a package to protect their ice pop from melting. They will use a variety of materials (conductors/ insulators). Some items we may need are bubble wrap, saran wrap, or other insulator material if you'd like to send in some of those materials.
Conferences are 10/27 & 11/3. 4:00-8:00pm. We're looking forward to meeting with all of you! :)

10/28- Whole school Halloween party (1:30-3:30 NO COSTUMES) A sign up genius was sent out to sign up for materials.
10/28- PTO Halloween Bash 6:00-7:30pm (WEAR YOUR COSTUME)
