i4Learning Update Friday, November 13
Showcase Event - We are excited for next week's Showcase Event at i4Learning. Please note that the Kewaskum Statesman had a misprint for the Showcase Event time. The Showcase Event is 5:30-6:30p.m. We did invite some local business partners to visit during the school day 2:30-3:30pm. We are asking all students and families to attend the evening event.
Student Links - There is now a student page on our website will all the relevant links for the different online learning programs that students are using at school. To navigate to the page, click on "Classroom" and then select "Students." The majority of these sites and programs are available from home.
Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences - Thank you parents & students for helping us achieve our goal of 100% participation in conferences!! It was great to see you all here and know that you're involved in your child/ren's education! Education is truly a TEAM & COMMUNITY effort!
Clergy Coalition for Coats - Has your child outgrown last years coat? Come exchange it for another size: Tuesday, December 8 3:00-6:00pm at the Kewaskum Middle School gym. You can also join local churches, Kewaskum School District and the Village of Kewaskum in sharing the warmth this winter season. Donate new or gently used coats, hats and mittens to give to those in need within OUR community. Monetary donations also accepted. Drop-off locations - now through December 5: Holy Trinity Church, Kettlebrook Church, All Kewaskum Schools, New Horizon Church, Peace United Church, St. Lucas Church, St. Michael's Church and the Village of Kewaskum.
PTO Meeting - The next PTO meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 17 following the Showcase Event at 6:30-7:30pm. You can visit the PTO link on our website to view the agenda and past meeting minutes.
Parent Survey - If you have not already, please take a moment to complete the i4Learning Parent Survey Nov. 2015 online. The survey will close on Wednesday, November 25. We appreciate your time in providing this valuable feedback.
SumDog - Did you know our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are taking part in a National Math Contest? You can check out the leaderboard here. When I checked this afternoon there were almost 700 classes participating. Our highest team was our 4th graders, in 89th place.
Schoolwide Writing Share Out - Today our two cohorts partnered up and grouped younger students with older students so they could all share their most recent writing. It was pretty cool to see the students excited to share and intently listening to their peers :-) Check out the pictures below.
