Week of March 1st-3rd

We had a very busy week! It was Read Across America Week for Dr. Seuss's birthday. The kids seemed to enjoy the dress up days. We had three guest readers throughout the week: Craig Plazak (governance council member), Mr. Dziedzic, and Jacky Alles (governance council member and parent) . We made the Lorax, Cat in the Hat, and a graphing and hand print activity with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. We also had a woman from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board come in. She read the class a story (they each got to bring their own copy home) and made us a healthy snack: fruit parfaits!

We will be celebrating our 100th day of 4k on Tuesday, March 15th! If you could send in 9 pieces of a snack, we'll put it all together to have 100 pieces of snack. (cheerios, raisins, pretzels, goldfish, etc). I'll send a reminder next week.

Trimester 2 report cards will be available by the end of next week.

2nd and final home visits will take place in May. I will send out sign up sheets as it gets closer.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Stahl
