October Newsletter

Can you believe we are one month into school and fall is already here?!?!  The school year is off to a wonderful start.  Teachers and students have been acclimated to the new environment, learning routines and expectations and getting to know one another.  As you may or may not know, we do have a few new staff members at i4Learning this year.  Mrs. Foerster, special education teacher, and Mrs. Schmidt, special education para, have joined our team this year.  Both have worked in the district for a number of years.  In addition, we've also welcomed three MPTC practicum students: Chloe, Rachel and Tracy.  These three will be with us through part of October to finish out their practicum placement.

Mrs. Rinzel will be out on leave for the next several weeks and we appreciate Mrs. Rodell stepping into sub while she is out.   One of our practicum students, Rachel, will be serving as our 4K paraprofessional intern while Mrs. Rodell subs in the office.

As we move into the colder months, please be sure to send your son/daughter with warm clothing as we try to go outside at least twice per day.  The fresh air and exercise is an important part of being ready to learn.  Reminder: the school medication form can be found on the last page of our student handbook here. If you are dropping off any medication with a student, please bring a completed medication form to the office with the medication in a plastic ziploc bag labeled with student's first and last name.

Thank you for helping make the start of the school year a great one!  Please continue to follow this blog for classroom and school updates.
